Abbey of the Roses

Abbey of the Roses is renowed as the "Most Spectacular Venue on the Southern Downs". The former 1893 Sister's of Mercy Convent (circa 1893) has been magnificently restored as a 4 star Guesthouse and Wedding and Function Centre.
Within and around the splendid Gothic Sandstone building, the photographic opportunities are endless!
Seating up to 130 is available in our Reception Room, which is free from distractions of the the public and insures maximum privacy on the day. We are also renowed for our Outside Receptions / Catering.
You have the option to be married in our Chapel, Gazebo or in our spacious rose gardens.

Broadway Chapel

The 120 year old Broadway Chapel has been exquisitely renovated to create a unique and memorable location for your wedding day. Broadway Chapel is designed to cater for a range of events, from intimate ceremonies or dinners for 10 guests, to more elaborate cocktail receptions of up to 70 guests. The Chapel is also available for ‘Chapel only’ hire for your special day and can seat up to 90 guests comfortably with standing room in the choir loft available for a further 30 guests.
The Chapel also has an extensive granite paved courtyard for outdoor entertaining and photographs. There is an extensive grassed area surrounded by beautiful trees and gardens for the perfect twilight venue. Adequate street parking is also available for wedding guests.

All services provided by Broadway Chapel are delivered to silver service standards and are guaranteed for quality service.
